Club Overview

We welcome all people from beginners to advanced karate-ka. The art/sport is ideal for children, men and women, young and old. All we ask of our students is the enthusiasm and commitment to do their best. Clare Shotokan Karate Club (CSKC) has been active in the West of Ireland since the late 80’s and since 2005, is affiliated to the Academy of Shotokan Karate (ASK) under Chief Instructor Sensei Dave Hazard (7th Dan). The clubs represented by CSKC and Kinvara Shotokan Karate Club (KSKC) are members of the Academy of Shotokan Karate Ireland (ASKI). We also are affiliated to the ONAKAI (Official National Amateur Karate Association of Ireland), EKF (European Karate Federation) and WKF (World Karate Federation).
